I was wondering if this is motto is gramatically correct?

its my family motto and i'm not sure that its grammatically correct.
"Ag altoirí, mar ag céachtaí" apparently its supposeed to mean something along the lines of (as well by altars as by ploughs.)
I would apreciate if you guys could take a look and tell me what you think.
Go raibh maith agaibh!

Hmm, "mar" is a preposition or a conjunction with a lot of different meanings. Here it is meant to mean "as".
But I don't know, whether it is correct here, esp. because no dictionary mentions it in the expanded meaning of "as well as"
So I'd recommend:
Ag altóirí chomh maith le céachtaí
