Dia doibh,

"Mhínigh sí dó gur shíl Síle amhlaidh leis." I'm trying to say..."She explained to him that Síle thought the same [as him]"

Here's what I would say.

Mhínigh sí dó gurb amhlaidh smaointe Síle.

Wait for more input.

... gurb amhlaidh smaointe Shíle = that Síle's thoughts are so (as well).

nó:
... gurb amhlaidh a smaoinigh/shíl Síle = that Síle thought so.
... gurb é an rud céanna a smaoinigh/shíl Síle = that Síle thought the same
... gur smaoinigh/shíl Síle mar an gcéanna. = that Síle thought the same
