 Post subject: ar an chéad dul síos

dia daoibh gach duine.

"Níor cuireadh ar líne iad ar an chéad dul síos" Have I the "iad" in the right place? I tried it at the end (after síos) but it sound weird to my ears.

Either works, though what you have is possibly the more common. I would contend they have subtly different meaning based on where the iad is as regards what you want to emphasise in the sentence but that's a minor thing.
