Hi,
I am looking to translate the following into Irish: The wounds of honour are self inflicted.
I've had a few friends take a crack at it and wanted to post here to see if any of these 3 okay, or, if there is a better translation out there.
1. Tú féin is cúis le créachta na honóra. 2. Gearradh créachta na honóra air féin. 3. Tá créachta na honóra geartha air féin. Translation
1. Yourself is the cause of the honorable wounds 2.The wounds of honor are inflicted on the self.
3 Same as 2. Slightly different grammar.
Thanks you!!
