Hello everyone and let me say thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
I am looking to have the following saying translated into Irish. Ultimately I would like to translate it into Ogham so I do now know which dialect would be best suited for that.
The saying is:
Lives linked across time.
Echoing through the ages.
The closest I have come up with is:
Croi nasctha thar am.
Macalla trid an aois.
Thank you all once again for any help...
Ogham is not dialect specific.
Lives linked across time.
Echoing through the ages.umm, that is a hard one to translate.
What you have means -
"Croí nasctha thar am.
Macalla trid an aois."
Heart linked over time,
echo through the ages.
I would say "daoine" (people) instead of "lives".
And "
ag macalla" to connect both phrases.
Daoine nasctha thar ama,
ag macalla tríd na haoiseanna.Definitely wait for confirmation and better translations.
