I'm working on a scrapbook of my time spent in Ireland, and on a certain page I want to use the words "never far apart."
I got the idea from a poem I read about Ireland, and I'd really like that phrase in Irish to put on the last page with a collage of all of the friends I made there. I took a language class while I was there, so I have an idea of what it translates to, but I figured I'd ask for a couple more opinions first!
If anyone knows what that might come out to, I'd greatly appreciate it!

PS I lived in Galway, so if you know specifically the Connacht Irish for it, that'd be awesome, but if not I love all Irish!

This is one where you will probably need to put the verb and subject back in Irish for it to make sense. Perhaps:

Ní bhíonn muid i bhfad ó chéile chóichín. (GC) "We are never far from each other."
Ní fada ó chéile muid chóichín. (GC) "We are never far from each other." literally "it is not far from each other that we are ever."
Ní fada eadrainn chóichín. (GC) "We are never far from each other." literally "it is not far between us ever."

Await correction, confirmation or better suggestions ...

My "specialty" is Connemara Irish, particularly Cois Fhairrge dialect, but I can also speak Ulster and Munster Irish with native-level pronunciation.
Is fearr Gaeilge ḃriste ná Béarla cliste, cinnte, aċ i ḃfad níos fearr aríst í Gaeilge ḃinn ḃeo na nGaeltaċtaí.
Gaeilge Chonnacht (GC), go háraid Gaeilge Chois Fhairrge (GCF), Gaeilic Uladh (GU), Gaelainn na Mumhan (GM), agus Gaeilge an Chaighdeáin Oifigiúil (CO).

'gar dá chéile i gcónaí' - not sure about this, but wondering about swopping the idea around so that it says something like 'always nearby'. I thought I was shortening Breandán's options by doing this and have just realised that his last suggestion only has four words to not so long after all!!

...in the abscence of any particular emphasis or actual sentence for context...
