A friend of mine took this photo at the Steinbeck Center in downtown Salinas, California...right in the heart of cowboy country! This phrase was repeaated in multiple languages in different windows. The number of times I've seen things written in various languages and suggested Irish only to be met with blank stares...this just warms my heart!

There is also Irish on display in SF, at the Martin Luther King, Jr. monument in Yerba Buena Gardens in the Financial District. They have his "Let justice roll like a river" speech there in a number of languages, and one of them is in Irish. They may have it in Scottish Gaelic and/or Welsh, too, but I haven't been there for quite a while, so I'm not sure.

There was Scottish Gaelic near the pool on the cruise ship we were on last year (the Nieuw Amsterdam). Just "uisge," but every little bit...

I looked for a tech solution but the implementation of BBCode in the forum software won't allow image resizing.

Instead I dowloaded the image, resized it and uploaded it to our server. I took the liberty of editing the link in Redwolf's post to point to the resized image. Sorry for the intrusion.
