I am writing a song and was hoping to get some confirmation on the grammar and pronunciation.

The english: "I am going home, to the place where I belong"

The gaelic (if it is terribly off please be gracious to a simple soul such as I): "Tá mé ag dul abhaile, an áit ina mbaineann mé"

Could someone give me the correct grammar and phonetics of how it should be pronounced?

That's exactly what I was looking for.

The verb "bain" + "in" doesn't mean "belong", as far as I know. And "mbainim" is still vastly preferable to "mbaineann mé".

Perhaps:

Tá mé ag dul abhaile, ar mo dhúchas
"I am going home, to where I belong."
TAW meh gwell uh-WULL-ih airh muh GHOO-khuss
/tɑ: m´e gel´ ə'wa:l´ə er´ mə ɣu:xəs/
