It is recommended that you always wait for three to agree on a translation.
I speak Connemara Irish, and my input will often reflect that.
I will do an mp3 file on request for short translations.

Na Focla -

Amhrán Mhuighinise / Mhuínse

Dá mbéinn trí léige i bhfairraige nó ar shléibhte i bhfad ó thír, Is gan aon neach beo i mo ghaobhar ach an raithneach ghlas is fraoch, An sneachta dhá shéideadh aduaidh orm is an ghaoth dhá fhuadach dhíom, 'S mé bheith ag comhrá le mo Taimín Bán, níorbh fhada liom an oích'.
'S a Mhuire dhílis, céard a dhéanfas mé? Tá an geimhreadh seo a' tíocht fuar. 'S a Mhuire dhílis, céard a dhéanfas an teach seo 's a bhfuil ann? Nach é an trua anois mé bheith ag scarúint libh ar thíocht na huaire bhreá, is nuair a bhéas an chuach ag goiriúint is an duilliúr glas ag fás.
Gearraidh amach mo chónra dhom as fhíorscoth geal na gcláir, 'S má tá Seán Ó hEidhin i Muighinis, bíodh sé déanta óna láimh; Cuiridh mo hata 's mo ribín síoda orm 's iad go rí-dheas ar mo cheann, Agus triúr ban óg ón tsléibhe le mé a chaoineadh os cionn cláir.
Is má bhíonn mo chlann sa mbaile a'm an oíche bhfaighidh mé bás, Go dtorróidís go groíúil mé trí oíche 'gus trí lá Beidh na píopaí geala cailce acu, 's na ceaigeannaí 's iad lán, 'S tiúrfaidh Páidín Mór go Muighinis mé, nó is olc a bhéas an lá.
'S ag gabháil siar go Inse Ghainimh dhom beidh farraigí ag éirí ard, Ná cuiridh i Leitir Caladh mé mar ní ann atá mo dhream, Ach tugaidh siar go Muighinis mé, san áit a gcaoinfear mé go hard; Beidh na soilse ar na dúchannaí, 's ní bheidh uaigneas orm ann.

It is indeed. :D

I can't sing so I do these unusual (or stupid?) talking videos.

Until I did research I didn't realise there were so many different versions of that song. Not very different but words here and there and some sentences different, an extra verse sometimes too. That version is from Nollaig Ní Laoire - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUOfVGBP2C4

Bíodh Nollaig den scoth ad, a chara.

That's interesting because I just discovered this version about three weeks ago by John Beag Ó Flatharta:
