I'm planning to tattoo a triquetra on my calf, with the names of 3 daughters
and a extra phrase;Therefore I should like to have the phrases underneath translated in Irish gaelic

* Proud to be your father

* 3 Miracles : Love forever

* Forever in my heart

* Forever my little miracles

If anybody knows some typically Irish sayings about being a proud father, please let my know...

Bródúil as a bheith bhur n-athair
Proud of being your father
[If you were addressing just one child, the "your father" part would be different]

"3 Miracles : Love forever"
The English phrase is somewhat ambiguous. If what you mean is "my love to you forever", as opposed to just "love forever" in a generic sense, then this would work:
Trí mhíorúilt: Mo Ghrá sibh go deo
3 mhíorúilt: Mo Ghrá sibh go deo
3 Miracles: My love to you forever

I mo chroí go deo
In my heart forever

"Forever my little miracles"
This one is also somewhat ambiguous in English (a well-placed comma might help).
You could have:
Is sibhse mo mhíorúiltí bheaga go deo
You'll be my little miracles forever
or:
Beidh grá agam daoibh go deo, a mhíorúiltí bheaga
I'll love you forever, my little miracles
Basically, something more needs to go with the "forever" to make it work in Irish, although there are lots of other possibilities ("I'll be with you forever", "I'll be yours forever," etc.).

I wondered, too, Red. In an earlier thread, I think that someone said that words which are used as poetic references to people don't necessarily need to use the numbers for people, but I can't find the thread so I'm not sure what the analysis was. One of the native speakers will know what sounds right.

I thought of another, shorter possibility for the last phrase:

Libhse go deo, a mhíorúiltí bheaga
Forever yours, my little miracles
or it can also mean:
With you forever, my little miracles

That would be TSF-achas.
It would have to be: Bródúil as a bheith i m'athair agaibh (or ...mar athair...) or something like that.
Kevin, my Foc Poc gives 'pompous, self-important' for mórchúiseach.

You're right, a Errigal. I see the TSF error. Also, sounds like mórchúiseach is used more for the pejorative meaning of "pride", as in something like "prideful", so bródúil would be the way to go.
