Here's one last question about a sentence in the story with the goats and the fox.

Do bhí sí ag imeacht mar sin, agus na mionnáin ag fás suas go sona sláintiúil dóibh féin.

I'm thinking that this means: "She carried on like that, and the kids growing up happy (and) healthy."

Why is dóibh féin at the end of the sentence? I don't understand that part. :S

Huh. Maybe "doing well for themselves" in Hiberno-English came from this!
