Chuala mé é seo i Ros na Rún anocht. It was in the context of a relationship being over/finished. I thought it was interesting as I have only ever used réidh to mean 'ready' as in 'tá an dinnéar réidh'.

réidh - also means "finished".

Tá mé réidh leis. - I'm finished with him.

Tá sé réidh - (in the right context) He's on the way out/He's dying.

It's one of those multi-use words. It can also mean free and smooth.
You might say "Tóg go bóg é". In Conamara we are more likely to say "Tóig go réidh é".

It is recommended that you always wait for three to agree on a translation.
I speak Connemara Irish, and my input will often reflect that.
I will do an mp3 file on request for short translations.

I have heard that before, but always just took it as 'he's ready' as in ready to move on to the next world.
