An baile go nglaotar "Ceathrún Rua" air – The town that is called "Ceathrún Rua"

I think it's better to keep paraphrasing to a minimum for the benefit of learners.

Well, made it through cuid a haon. Much easier than Séadna, thanks to An Lon Dubh's excellent notes and the Corkirish dictionary. Cuid a dó coming up. I will also be practicing reading in seanchló. I found a link that will convert web pages to seanchló, so I can practice reading it as Béarla until I get the font fixed in my head.

The timing on the notes is perfect, Lon Dubh! I've just finished reading through the 2nd part and I'll be ready to start on Part 3 to-morrow.

Just letting you know: There is no way that I'd be able to read through this story without your notes! I've really been learning a lot since we've started reading this story and I'm even getting used to the seana-chló. About the only thing missing is an audio version. There are lots of words that I've never heard before and it would sure be nice to hear how everything is pronounced. Feel free to make a recording if you have a chance to do this sometime. I could post my own recording of how I think everything should be pronounced, but it would be better to actually hear it from you first. Thanks for doing all this – I'll be forging ahead on Part 3 to-morrow!

Good timing, indeed! Almost finished with part 2. Unfortunately, it's tax season, so major overtime is coming up at work and it's time to get the vegetable garden in, which will cut into my study time, and slow me down some. But I will catch up.
