Well, no doubt I'll learn from it, even if I don't participate. Cúpla ceist, le do thoil. Could the correct preposition to use with a particular word change, based on context? And are there dialectal differences as to which is the correct preposition to use?

As a general answer, yes. Often there is more than one idiom associated with a word, each using a different preposition, and more than one might fit the context, though I haven't checked Scooby's questions in detail to see if there are any in this case.

Again, yes. For example, some dialects say Tá grá agam duit and some say tá grá agam ort. (But again, I don't know if there are any examples of this kind in Scooby's quiz questions.)

Certainly some of the examples can have more than one answer depending on interpretation. I tried this with a Leaving Cert Higher Level class this year (with mixed results!) and I got some surprising, although perfectly valid interpretations. Regarding dialects, cas ar dheis / cas faoi dheis is another example - probably included in my questions but I haven't tim e to go back over them.

Here's another difficult one (which I hope I have right!) - definitely not for beginners.
