It's a dialect thing. In most regions, it means three or four; in Scoobyland apparently it means eighty.

I'm not sure about the first sentence at all. I want to say 'ann' and 'amach', but presume they are wrong as they aren't prepositions or do they have to be prepositions in this exercise? With the second sentence, I think it is: Tá biseach i ndán ort.” Would someone else like to help with the first half of this?

But it's 'ní' not 'níl'.... Does that change it? Scooby's a real slave driver. I expected a nice easy lead-in; perhaps one gap for the first few and then have another few with two gaps..... Not at all, four gaps to complete on question number two. He's obviously going into withdrawal without his students to torment. We need a smiley with a whip!

There's a real mixed bag here. Some may seem obscure and others really need to be learned, (like the prepositions 'misneach' or 'fiafraigh' go with...). It's easy when you know the answers!
