"ós" in "ós rud é" isn't a preposition, it's a conjunction+ the copula...

Yes, I was looking for a preposition that causes lenition of both bhuachaillí and chailíní.

Roinn sé an t-airgead ar a theaghlach.

roinn le = share with

roinn ar = divide among ... easy to remember, just think Ryanair!
