Someone here once said you know you have amazing listening comprehension skills when you can understand more than a few words Séamus Michil Tom says! I admit I have a very hard time following him, and I don't think it's a "native speaker's Irish vs. learner's Irish" thing, as I haven't had much trouble following other native speakers. I think the man just mumbles!

Séamus Michil Tom? Is that cursing old Séamus? "Hard time" would be a very nice understatement for me. Anything longer than "friggin' [+ single noun]" is beyond me... Can't decide who's harder to understand, him or red-haired Síle.
Anyway, this is what I'm going to take:
1) So ehm, cá huair a mbeidh tusa ag gabháil chun an bhaile?
2) Ah, frig an dinnéar! I mean, Bernie, níl mé ag iarraidh a bheith ag troid leat ach..
3) Agus na hoícheannta uilig a raibh dinner parties agat agus cuireadh an ruaig orm suí síos chun an bheár.
4) Sin é atá mí-cheart leatsa Jason, níl drive ar bith ionat.
5) An bhfuil a fhios agat seo, a Sheáin, tá lúchair orm go bhfuil tú ag dul a chrochadh suas na fuddy-duddy suits in sa deireadh thiar thall.
6) Quality time mo leath-deiridh.
7) Is doiche gur cheart dúinn an giota beag sin a chuir isteach níos luaithe.
8) Haigh, bhuel an bhfuil a fhios agat seo, is furast aithne gur phioc tú suas grand tips ag an chonference.

aríst for the help! That was priceless!
