I was blown away, by the way, by how much Irish I saw in Dublin compared to the last time I was there (in 2008). Granted that it's not all good Irish (sadly, not all Irish on the signs in the Gaeltacht have good Irish either...has anyone else seen that "na marcail bóthair" road sign that's been making the rounds?), just seeing it everywhere was a real lift.

It isn't, but there is a connection. When I was in Dublin in 2008, I met up with our Abigail, who happened to be staying at Abigail's Hostel...made the name of the hostel much easier to remember!
