Hello...again

I don't want to ask too much of anyone, but I'd like to know what is being said in this song...And I can't really figure it all out on my own :( Is there possibly anyone who could take a listen to this and tell me the words? Please an thank you VERY much! I'd appreciate greatly!

The gist of it is that the girl covers her father with sand when he falls asleep on the beach. Then she does the same to her mother, and in the last verse she falls asleep herself, and the parents get her back.

Cé a chlúdaigh mé le gaineamh? = Who covered me with sand?

The first verse -

Thit mo dheaidí ina chodladh
ina chodladh ar an trá
chlúdaigh mé é le gaineamh
le gainnimh ó bhun go barr
dhúisigh sé go tobann
dhúisigh sé agus é ag béicúcháin
“Cé a chlúdaigh mé le gaineamh?
Cé a chlúdaigh mé ó bhun go barr?
Cé a chlúdaigh mé le gaineamh is mé mo chodladh ar an trá?”

Then the next verses are almost identical, with her Mamaí and then herself.

It is recommended that you always wait for three to agree on a translation.
I speak Connemara Irish, and my input will often reflect that.
I will do an mp3 file on request for short translations.

This is one of children's favourite songs. It is on Ceol na Mara, Futa Fata which is a really lovely cd full of songs about all kinds of things to do with the sea. One of the best things we have ever bought our kids. http://www.futafata.ie/product_info.php ... dfd5fa9fcc

Raghnall Rón is on that CD too.
Maidhc Ó Conghaile - obviously a little native speaker.

(I did a video of that on my youtube but I'll have to redo it as the syncing is wrong)

Another lovely offering. It's a lovely little song about a seal who is fed up being in the circus and wants to go home to Connamara on the train. 8-) I'll look out for the video! 8-)

Speaking of lyrics...
Anyone of you heard the Tommy Makem version of: Crúiscín Lán ('little jug', I got that part)

Can't find but a couple lines of it...OI'll try and transcribe it if necessary
