"Más ionat croí caorach" Strictly speaking that would be "Má tá croí caorach ionat", but with poetic licence you can probably say it that way too. (Somebody might check if that is the correct spelling for that pronoun though, I'm never good at those)

But using "beir" that way is totally wrong. Firstly the wrong tense, and secondly "beir" only means the wolf will catch you [with his teeth] (i.e. bite).
I would use the future tense of "eat" or "devour".

.....alpfaidh an fhaol craosach thú. (devour)

.... íosfaidh an fhaol craosach thú. (eat)


Wait for confirmation.

Beir in this instance is actually the foirm tháite of the future of bí, 2nd person singular (beidh tú = beir)

Yes, but non-Munster speakers (and maybe even some Munster speakers) will see beir and think imperative sing. of beir/breith. Bríd Mhór (a native speaker) thought so; so did I (intermediate learner). My first thought was that ag was a typo for ar - which didn't fit the original English version, of course - then I remembered you have Munster Irish. I'm aware of the Munster future form -ir, so I assumed beir (though I've never come across it before) = beidh tú (C.O.).
The vast majority of (non-Munster) Irish speakers (native plus non-native) however, will be confused. "Dialect" versions are welcome, and every bit as valid as the CO - that goes without saying. If there's confusion, though, as in this case, it should be explained. Faolan might have a hard time explaining his tattoo.
