If there is someone who could help me translate a poem that I wrote... I would really like to print it in Gaelic with the English translation below it... I have a long way to go just to be able to speak/write, and could use a little help with this.

Post it and we will do our best to translate it.

But you need to clarify which language you need, Irish or Scots Gaelic.

Bless your lips that are divine,
always wanting them close to mine.
Don't you know the Lord above,
created you for me to love!
He picked me out from all the rest,
for He knew my love would be best.
A lifetime of love and honor for you a must,
till that day I return to the dust.
If my light fades out from this place,
the last thing it wants is to see your angelic face.
If I'm in Heaven before you get there,
I'll carve your name on a golden chair.
I'll sit and wonder of how your life will be,
and hope you still have a love for me.
I'll walk with the Saints and tell them of a love I knew,
But I'll shed a tear in Heaven, I am there without you.
If your not there on Judgement Day,
I'll know you've gone the "other way".
So to the angels I'll give back my wings,
halo, harp and all those things.
To prove to you what my love would do,
I'll go through Hell to be with you.

So, to start off, you know the translation probably won't rhyme, yes? And that some things will need to be paraphrased? It's the nature of the beast when translating poetry.

Redwolf, I do know...

Having it in Irish is more about the sentiment than the rhyming,

...but I would also appreciate the English translation below the Irish, so I do know what it says (even if it has to be paraphrased)
