Irish has several words that can mean "family," depending on exactly what you mean by it.

If you mean "family" as in your household (i.e., just the people who live with you) teaghlach would be right. "Teaghlaigh" is the genitive case, so it's no use to you.

If you mean something beyond that, there would probably be better choices. So that's pretty much where we need to start.
