However he's an Ulsterman, so would someone from Munster be so good as to give me an idea of how would it look like in that dialect? The title is Excuses, Excuses (which I'd forgotten, of course)

It was only an accident - Ní raibh ann ach taisme.

It's not really broken, is it? - Níl sé briste le fírinne, an bhfuil?
(though Fiairefeadha preferred - Níl sé briste i ndairire, an bhfuil sé?)

We didn't know we weren't supposed to be there!

I was doing a bit of fishing myself for the phrase 'I did it on purpose' which I have been told several times, but keep forgetting. Came across this list and thought it was worth bumping. Good fishing, Franc!
