Does anyone else remember discussing this list a few months back? There was some interest in translating it into Irish. Well, now it seems someone else has done all the work for us. :clap:

I speak Connemara Irish, and my input will often reflect that.
I will do an mp3 file on request for short translations.

On skoool.ie there's a Guide to the Leaving Certificate Irish Oral Exam (but it's for 2008, so perhaps they don't do it anymore?)
There's also The Irish Oral/An Scrúdú Cáinte in the Shortcuts to Success series published by Gill & MacMillan
ISBN 978 0 7171 3832 6 with an accompanying CD, that's full of them.

Maybe we could start our own rival supplementary list.

In aon chor = in any case
Pé scéal é = anyway
Dála an scéal = anyway
Áfach = however
Deirtear = it is said
De réir = according to
