It is recommended that you always wait for three to agree on a translation.
I speak Connemara Irish, and my input will often reflect that.
I will do an mp3 file on request for short translations.

Hello! My name is Deanna and I've just joined today. I have been researching my genealogy for a couple of years now and FINALLY followed our family back to Ireland. Still in the process of a lot of research, but my sister and I are planning a trip to Ireland in 2014, after we know where our family lived. I would love to be able to go back and at least speak a few words of Irish, but I admit, I've never tried to learn at all. So I thought I would hang around here for a while, learn some things and hopefully get some tips and/or ideas on where to study a little more in depth. Glad to be here!

Deanna

Hi! My name is Kaleigh. I am part Irish and Scottish, and if you saw me, you wouldn't doubt it. I have bright red hair, green eyes and I'm covered in freckles. I also do Irish Step Dancing. I only know a few words in Gaelic, and would love to learn more. :]
