Thank you. I just wanted to clarify that what I write in Irish shouldn’t be taken as gospel. I caught myself writing “ní chím” once- which is just no good, lol. At least I caught it. As for old words, I’m sure you’d already know the majority of what I refer to. PUL had them. While I’d say “cruach,” a young Gaeltacht speaker would probably say “carn féir.” There are better examples which I will edit in if I think of in time. Dar cnísc, dar so súd, all the interjections besides “ó” dont think they say stuff like that either. Just those words that describe the details; names of plants and birds dlnt seem commonly known. The same difficulties recently discussed that Gaeltachters have understanding their grandparents they would have them understanding my Irish. That’s all. Gonadh é mo sgéal-sa go nuige sin.

You would see that my Irish was absolute shite my first few messages on this forum due to lack of exposure while it has improved since. Lol I'd like to sincerely apologise for that as well as not understanding the internet. In my defense, I seem not to be good at language in general; a few weeks ago i said "I goed" in English.
