The closest translation I have found is: "Is é faillí a roghnú, leithscéalta a dhéanamh" which translates to "To make excuses is to choose failure" is this correct?? or do someone have a more accurate version?

Is ionann leithscéal a dhéanamh agus teip a roghnú. literally "To make an excuse is the same as to choose to fail"
