Hello,

could you translate the sentences Always with you and Forever with you in scottish Gaelic?

Thank you very much!

I notice that you posted a similar request in the Irish (Gaeilge) part of the forum. The expressions below are in Scottish Gaelic (Gàidhlig).

Most of these are pretty interchangeable (note that in Gaelic the "with you" part normally comes first):

Leatsa an còmhnaidh
Always with you

Leatsa gun sgur
Always [unceasingly] with you

Leatsa gu bràth
or
Leatsa gu sìorraidh
Forever with you

Taking into account the discussion of possible ambiguity in the responses which you received in the Irish part of the forum, you can eliminate any ambiguity here in the same manner which Bríd suggested there, by replacing "Leatsa" with "Le do thaobh" ("by your side"). That part of the expression would be the same in both languages, whatever you choose for the second part.

Are you sure it's spelt "gu bràgh"? I knew "gu bràth"...

My mistake. I've corrected it.
