"Grace and peace"

Good morning,

Can someone help me translate "grace and peace" into Gaelic? I mean this as a wish to a person, i.e., "Grace and peace be with you" - though I just need to know how to say "grace and peace." I am contemplating using this as an inscription on a piece of jewelry.

Working on the assumption that you're discussing God's grace and not some other type of grace, I like:

grásta 'is suaimhneas

But always wait for others

AFAIK, it's either 's or is or 'gus or agus. Small point but I think it's worth pointing out :P

OP, if you mean peace in the sense of alliance/union world peacer kinda thing, then use "síocháin". If you mean it in the sense of "tranquility", then use as above, suaimhneas

Yes...no apostrophe before "is" in this case.

"Síocháin" is what's usually used in the religious sense (as in St. Paul's greeting: "Grace to you and peace")
