Hello sorry to bother everyone I was just wondering what this roughly translates to because when I put it through a translator it does not really make sense.
It means "my beautiful/pretty little treasure/dear"
The "little" part need not be understood literally -- it just multiplies the endearment.
What probably threw things off is that
dathúil also means "colorful" (its most common meaning). Automated translators have great difficulty with words which have various meanings.
As an additional note,
mo stóirín dathúil only works if you're speaking
about her
/him.
If instead you are speaking
to her
/him, it should be:
A stóirín dathúilEdited to remove the sexism, per Red's comment below.
