Dia daoibh agus athblian faoi Mhaise daoibh!

Tá céist bheag a'm. Bhí mé ag léamh Buntús Caint aríst agus chonaic mé na focail/frásaí "ar feadh" agus "go ceann". Are these interchangable or are they set in certain contexts? That is can I say "Seas abhus anseo ar feadh nóimead" as well as "Seas abhus anseo go ceann nóimead" ?

GRMA.

Ar feadh can be used for a period in the past, present or future, including one beginning in the past and ending in the future.

Go ceann refers specifically to a period starting "now". Go means "to, until", and ceann means end.

Similarly, le ... (anuas) refers specifically to a period until "now".
