Dia duit a chairde, bhí mé ar suíomh gréasáin eile fadó fadó, agus ceapaim go bhfuil cúpla daoine anseo air freisin.

Fionnuala is ainm dom, is mise as Éireann agus táim i mo gconaí i mBaile Átha Cliath anois. (ach bhí mé i mo gconaí sna Stát Aontaithe cúpla bliain ó shin nuair a bhí mé ar an suíomh eile.)

Hi there all

My name is Seán Gilgallon, my family long ago came from the Cork area so I am told, I think we may have been Kilgallon originally, but perhaps a drunken slip of a pen changed all that :good:

Anyway, nice to be here :D

Hello all!

I live in the Northeastern part of the USA. I developed a love for language in my late 20s and I feel compelled to learn Irish. Not only for myself, but for my children. I want them to at least develop an interest in Irish. I can't describe why, but I feel this is very important and I look forward to talking to everyone.

Dia duit!
I made an attempt last year to start learning Irish via several different venues but, due to several factors, fell of the rails with it a bit. I'm here to make a second attempt! ;) I'm in Chesterville, Ontario (Canada). My family hails from Ulster (as well as Scotland), and so I'll be trying to lean more towards that dialect, though any learning is good learning as far as I'm concerned!

Slán,
Cindi

Dia duit, a chairde!

I'm a sixteen-year old student from Turkey who loves to learn languages, especially Irish. I love not only Irish, but also other Celtic languages. I have an intermediate knowledge of Irish and it's currently my strongest Celtic language. I want to learn the Irish pronunciation so that I can speak it beautifully. I love the way Irish sounds, but unfortunately I could find only one Irish resource, and it was Collins' Irish pocket dictionary. There are hardly any resources about Irish in Turkey, and there are no resources about Irish with Turkish description. I'm happy to join here.

I'd like to finish my introduction here.

See you! ;)

Hello,

My name is Maxime, i'm a french man. I am 30 years old.
My first trip in Ireland was in 2008 and i totally falled in love for this country. The countryside, the pubs, the celtic spirit, the people... everything is perfect here!!!

Since 2008, i went 7 times in Ireland. The 3 last times where with my wife. My proposal was madein the Gap Of Dunloe...

If you know how i can learn and practice gaelic langage in France on in internet, i am interested :)

Thank you very much and see you later! :)

Merci beaucoup :)
