I'm desperately trying to find this - I noted it down a long time ago, but I just can't find it. It's a teaching method on DVD and a website for teaching the basic steps of Irish dance to children - it's been made in accordance with the official school curriculum and on the website there is a sample video of children dancing both in an English and an Irish version - the instructions in Irish are said by Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh. Does that ring a bell with anyone?

'Am Damhsa' is where my investigations have led. (I contacted COGG and they gave me the name!) Here's one link I found when I googled it. http://www.schooldance.ie/irish.html I'm sure there will be others.

Happy dancing!

I've even had a reply from the lady herself - I felt very privileged indeed. ;)
