Thank you for doing this; it's fun, it's motivating, I'm getting such a lot from it, I love it.

There are half-a-dozen words that don't have the vocal, and one word that doesn't have the English translation, but you may already know? Please don't read that as a moan - I for one am eternally grateful that people volunteer their own time on projects such as this.

I'm sticking with it, and in conjunction with a couple of other courses on Memrise, am looking forward to the day I can make sense of some of the messages I read here!

Please post any issues you find! I don't take it as a moan or complaint at all. You could either post it here or on the Memrise forum specifically for the course. I believe there are a few that the audio doesn't seem to be working on the mobile app as well. I've been a bit more worried about getting all of the content up than I have been about correcting any issues but I'll start fixing any problems that you point out.

And you are crushing it on the course. I have no hope of keeping up with you at all! :-) Knowing that you have been using it so much has really been driving me to make sure that I am consistent in adding new levels. But since you are so far ahead of me you will see the problems first, so don't hesitate to list any corrections or suggestions.

I made a couple of corrections with the ones that were missing audio files. Let me know if you find any others.

One of the things that makes this so motivating is the high level of scoring - the marking tactics are quite clever. And working at home 3 days a week ;) means I can sneak in a little more time than some. But please don't push it on my account - after all, last week I was almost half way done, and now I'm only a quarter of the way through. If you carry on as you have been, I'll soon only be at the beginning again!

As I work through I'll make a note of any points, and when I have a few I'll contact you on the Memrise board. Once again, thank you, and to Bríd too.

I was off all week but we did some traveling or I would have had things done faster. I'm just finishing up the last few page's that Bríd has posted at this point. My goal was to have all of the existing posts transferred by the end of June, I was a few days late but the week before last was a complete mess for me.

May I ask what other learning resources you are using?

On Memrise I'm doing a 'Foundation reading' course, and 'First Steps to Spoken Irish'. Outside of Memrise I'm listening to 'Now You're Talking' on YouTube, I've got 'Teach Yourself Irish', which I've just started working through, and there is a site called 'eirefirst' that I use if I'm trying to understand some of the grammar. It explains it in a way I can make the most sense of it. I listen to Irish radio occasionally, hoping to understand something, (but I'm nowhere near that level), and I read everything posted here.

It's all a bit unstructured, I know, and I should probably choose one course eventually. But that's for later.

I've got a few course ideas floating around in my head. I'll let you know if I ever get them up and running.

I'm really finding these useful at the moment, but I've found a couple of minor issues...

An Modh Coinníollach
http://www.memrise.com/course/3556/an-m ... nniollach/

An Aimsir Ghnáthchaite
http://www.memrise.com/course/3544/an-a ... athchaite/

I just wish they had sound.

Go raibh maith agat,

I hadn't seen those two. I've bookmarked both of them and will have a close look later.

I can't see me catching up with you on either of them, though.....

I just wanted to let everyone know that Bríd's course is up to 296 words/phrases and I have added sound files for all of the entries at the end that were missing them.

I'd like to add some more (a total of 365 not counting phrases) from all of the work Bríd has done on Forvo as well. If anyone has any suggestions, feel free to message me.

Tá tú iontach ar fad a Bhob. Maith thú. :good:

I hope to clear some of the backlog and do some corrections on Forvo soon.
As somebody  added 40,000 words I will never be able to clear them all again. I felt like throwing in the towel actually.

Please don't! You are one of my inspirations to keep going myself!
