I was once subscribed to IGTF a few years back under the user name itamedragons, but for some reason or another drifted away from using it. I do recognize a few of the user names from IGTF here ! To them I say "Tá sé go maith a fheiceann tú arís". You might remember me after I've made a few posts and contributions here ... maybe.

Tá an-áthas orainn thusa a fheiceáil arís freisin, a chara.

Just be sure to always wait for confirmation or correction on anything I say.

No worries there mate. My want of tattoo's and other such marks of permanence are long past me now. As no one in my area speaks the language, I can afford an error or two :D . I once recited a short blessing in Irish at my nephew's wedding. I have no doubt I made several mistakes in grammar and pronunciation but when it was done, the women were weeping and the men just thought it was the coolest thing they'd ever heard. No one was the wiser LOL.

I remember you Itamedragons. Fáilte ar ais.

It is recommended that you always wait for three to agree on a translation.
I speak Connemara Irish, and my input will often reflect that.
I will do an mp3 file on request for short translations.

Go raibh maith agat , a Bhríd. Yes, I remember you well. You were of immense assistance in helping translate a poem I wrote in Bearla into Gaeilge. I'm afraid my Irish has only improved slightly since then, but it has improved

Sure there is no hurry. Take it a little at a time. You will get there. :good:
