It is recommended that you always wait for three to agree on a translation.
I speak Connemara Irish, and my input will often reflect that.
I will do an mp3 file on request for short translations.

Looks like an interesting idea. Lurgan are doing a huge amount for Irish these days - managing to reach teenagers in a way that others cannot. One question: how do you say 'six weeks' in Irish? Methinks it ain't 'sé seachtainí'..... :/ Sé seachtaine?

Dialect, m'dear, dialect... "Sé seachtaine" is the CO form alright. According to the CO, nouns after numbers 3-6 can go in the singular or plural -apart from those nouns such as 'seachtain' with a special form ('seachtaine'). In Ulster Irish, however, 'seachtain' seems not to be considered as one of those nouns, and then tends to the plural much more than the singular, hence "sé seachtainí".

Lasciate ogni speranza voi ch'entrate... I think yer man might have been referring to the divine comedy of the Irish number system

Mhanam, ach nach togha an mhúinteora é féin. An mbíonn sé ag múineadh i gColáiste Lurgan, a Bhríd. Bhfuil aithne ad air?

Be sure to get three in agreement with a translation given.

Níl fhíos 'am cé é féin ach is mór an seans go muineann sé sa gcoláiste.

Tá sé go hiontach ar fad. Ní bheadh sé i bhfad do ghríosú lena chuid dúthrachta agus a chuid fuinnimh. Agus Gaeilg ghalánta atá aige leis.
