I ran across a few typos in Cuid a ceathair –

In the first paragraph:
Pé méid acu a bheadh 'n-a dhiaidh, ná pé iarracht a dheinidís ar theacht suas leis …

Na Nótaí:
Under the definition of Ball, the usual abbreviation for et cetera is "etc.", I think.

Tóir Pursuit

I think a better definition of cleasaíocht might be "trickery" instead of "tricks".

It might be good to add "I harass" to the definition of Ciapaim; it seems to be the meaning that is in the story.

Cumar A ravine

That's all of the typos, as far as I can tell.


Thanks to the great notes and burning the midnight oil, I managed to get through most of Cuid a ceathair alright, but I can't understand part of one sentence:

… is amhlaidh a bhíodh leath a mbíodh ar a thóir marbh aige agus é féin imithe.
Maybe something like: … the fact of the matter is that half [of the people] who were in pursuit of him were killed by him and he himself gotten away.

That's exactly right!

A bhíodh = who were, that were direct relative
a mbíodh = all who were, all that were, comprehensive relative.

So literally:
is amhlaidh a bhíodh leath a mbíodh ar a thóir marbh aige agus é féin imithe.
It is thus that half of all who were on his pursuit were killed by him and he himself gone.

I've underlined were the direct relative bhíodh appears in both.

So far, Cuid a ceathair is the hardest one, so it's gonna take me a few extra days to learn everything in it.

By the way, I'm thinking that Conghal is pretty tricky and I don't trust him one bit!

Yeah, that's definitely true, I remember thinking that myself when I first read it.
