I stumbled across this. The site is for Leaving Certificate students of Irish, but presumably is of interest to anyone learning the beloved TG. Now where did I put that mála scoile? It's o.k. I left it ar chúl an tí!

Dia dhuit I have a question about how to answer a few questions in Irish and if I am writing them correctly and using correct grammar. Can I ask here or should I start a new thread?

thanks

Start a new thread and give it a title that will make it easy to identify for people who may be interested in contributing to it. Feel free to begin as many threads as you like, but only one for each question. We look forward to an onslaught of interesting questions from you. No pressure!

Just to add to this - and for all those Leaving Cert students that abound here - (well leaving's something some of them will thinking about, I shouldn't wonder, but anyway) the Irish Times has a supplement that you can download where you'll find some pages on what to do when sitting for the Irish exam -
The Exam Times Leaving Cert languages supplement -
Style Points - Clare Grealy
Learn you poems,
understand your characters - Clare Grealy
Prepare, practise, compose - Diarmuid Ó Tuama
Get Gabbing - Clare Grealy

Clare Grealy also makes this presentation about the teaching of Irish and the Leaving Cert
