I don't know about that. There is a difference between "mar atá" and "mar a bhfuil"....

"Fan mar atá tú" and "fan mar a bhfuil tú" mean different things, as do
"Bíodh mar atá" and "Bíodh mar a bhfuil"....having said that, it is a simple sentence in English, but quite difficult in Gaoluinn.

to me "bíodh mar a thá sé" means "ah shur, that's just the way it is" but there is some sort of imperative in it.

"let it be" attempts to or does actually imagine a putative peace.

"Bíodh mar atá sé" is more of an acceptance of an imbalance and unfairness that exists naturally......neither are completely true to each other, merely interpretations that really cannot be rendered diplomatically or idiomatically.
