Do you mean these to represent two sides of your family?

If so, perhaps:

Na Croidheánaigh or Muintir Uí Chroidháin for "the Crehans"

Na Dónallánaigh or Muintir Uí Dhónalláin for "the Donnellans"

All seems pretty straightforward now is there a word for "And" in Irish as in the Crehans and the Donnellans as I think that might look and sound better.

However, to get the poncanna instead of the "h" for the séimhiú I had to go about it in a round-about way.

1. When you've highlighted the text you wish to put in the bun-chló ársa go to 2. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaelic_ty ... cteristics

on the third line of the link you'll see: Ḃḃ Ċċ Ḋḋ Ḟḟ Ġġ Ṁṁ Ṗṗ Ṡṡ Ṫṫ

3. pick the relevant lenited consonant, 4. copy and paste it into the text i.e

Mo Mhuintir> Mo Muintir > Mo Ṁuintir

That way you'll get:

Mo Ṁuintir

and not

Mo Mhuintir

Breandán previously gave me a link to get the Gaelic script as a font option on my laptop, unfortunately it didn't work for me as I'm not great with computers. Any thing I know how to do, I learned it in going about it in roundabout ways because I'm to lazy to learn the right way !
