I'm trying to figure out a way of saying the folllowing :-

I must make an effort to listen to more Irish regularly.

Go raibh maith agaibh.

I am new here but I would like to have a go at it,

Bá cheart dom iarracht a dhéanamh faoi chluas a habhairt don Ghaeilge níos minice.

That's my "iarracht" and it is probably not that correct. :-}

I've just seen one mistake myself - I forgot the 't' at the beginning of "thabhairt".

I also wanted to know how to say 'I must make an effort to speak more Irish regularly/often'

Actually that's the one that I originally meant to post.

Any help appreciated, I don't have a problem with pronunciation, and I'm especially interested in the Connacht way of saying it if that's possible.

"Ba chóir dom an Ghaeilge a labhairt níos minice"?
Slightly more concise, "I ought to speak Irish more often"

You could also consider:
Caithfidh mé iarracht a dhéanamh níos mó Gaeilge a labhairt go rialta/go minic
or
Caithfidh mé tabhairt faoi níos mó Gaeilge a labhairt go rialta/go minic




Caithfidh mé iarracht a dhéanamh éisteacht go rialta le níos mó Gaeilge.
or
Caithfidh mé tabhairt faoi éisteacht go rialta le níos mó Gaeilge.

Be sure to get three in agreement with a translation given.

That's very close to how I would approach it, with some minor variation, and using the older spelling in some cases.
It may have a Conamara feel to it too.

Labhairt le tuilleadh Gaeilge sounds like Béarlachas to me.

I would say Caithfidh mé iarracht a dhéanamh tuilleadh Gaeilge a labhairt. At least, that's how I typically use tuilleadh.

I threw in a few muise and ambaist there as well
