A friend of mine came back from Galway where she bought a necklace that says:

Go Deoid

It's in script and sort of difficult to make out so I could be mistakeen and my little pocket dictionary is far from un-abridged, but she was told this means, and I quote,
"All love starts from within"

It does not make sense to me and I can't figure out, what if anything this actually means. The closest I come is "go deo" but there are too many letters. Am I missing something? :GRMA:

(Edited to include the actual request in the title to make it easier to find. Saoirse)

My guess is that you are on the right track and that it says:

go deoiḋ "for ever, always, to the end"

The old spelling of deo (deodh) in the dative was deoidh The dh was written as a dotted d in sean-chló.
