This is one that will probably have myriad idioms to express it.

Things to bear in mind:

First, I think the "so" here is really an Americanism for "very" (though it has caught on in other brands of English) and I think it sounds a bit strange to translate it as chomh ... sin.

Second, "excited" can also mean "angry" and a lot of Irish idioms translated as "excited" in English have that negative connotation in Irish.

I've heard corraithe for "excited" but I think it means more "stirred up". Would Táim an-chorraithe have any negative connotations?

Other possibilities:

Táim/tá mé an-tógtha.
Tá mo mheanma an-tógtha.

Táim chomh corraithe (would that work?) and could you use words (intensifiers) such as i ndáiríre, iontach, fíor- ?

this means "I am as excited/agitated" (have to add something after)

I have only ever heard corraithe used negatively, meaning troubled or aggravated. But a quick check on focal.ie in the gluaiseanna breise it says it can also mean exited... but there's lots of different layers to the meaning of exited.
