I looked up this expression on teanglann.ie at got a bunch of results, all of which seem pretty good to me. Ó Dónaill gave i dtul, aghaidh ar aghaidh, béal ar bhéal, gnúis le gnúis, and eineach in ionchaibh. De Bhaldraithe had dhá dhream a thabhairt i láthair a chéile for 'to bring to parties face to face', but I think this one might not be as universal. Which ones do you guys know that are attested in native works?
