Couldn't you use the verbs taispéain or léirigh - to show respect - rather than to give respect?

How about:

Bíonn urraim ag an saol do dhuine urramúil.

Thanks for the replies. It is a GAA slogan. Someone I know is trying to throw the cúpla focal into a newsletter for a children's camogie team and thought it would be nice to translate this. It probably needs to sound 'slogany' in the Irish version too for it to be recognisable. I know that's not always possible.
