In recognition of her unfailing efforts in promoting ILF, the moderators have decided to make Saoirse a Modhnóir (Moderator).

(This is done on the understanding that she is not to log on so much that she upsets her hubby ;) - don't want you to get banned from the internet altogether. The moral of the story is be careful how helpful you get or you may have extra responsibilities foisted upon you. )

Jokes aside. Thank you for your efforts so far and welcome to the fold, a Shaoirse.

Go raibh míle maith agaibh. Thank you very much. I feel very honoured.

I'm not sure Hubby will agree with your decision...

Does this mean that I can unintentionally cause damage and shut down the site by accident? I'm the kind of person that finds it difficult to resist the signs that say, 'don't press the red button'......

The scary thing is I can't guarantee that you can't - so I've made several backups of the site just in case.

It is recommended that you always wait for three to agree on a translation.
I speak Connemara Irish, and my input will often reflect that.
I will do an mp3 file on request for short translations.

Go raibh maith agat, a Ghumbi. :D

Nílim cinnte go gceapfadh na úineirí nua ar an taobh eile é sin! Buíochas le Dia, tá ar bpobal anseo ag eirí níos láidre. Tá meas agus fíorghrá ag na daoine anseo don teanga. Sin an rud is tábhachtaí domsa, mar fhoghlaimeoir. Tá mé an-sásta a bheith anseo. Tá sé an-mhaith go bhfuil tú anseo linn freisin. :)
