Hi all,
Thank you in advance for anybody's help with this!
I was very close to my grandmother, who was from Wexford. When things were tricky for me, 'one day at a time' became the motto we lived by. I would really like to get a tattoo which says 'one day at a time', and I would like it in Irish Gaelic because she spoke it, and especially towards the end of her life, spoke it more and more in general conversation.
If anyone can give me a translation, I'd be extremely grateful!
Thank you!
lá amháin in éineacht - "one day at a time"
or a paraphrase which I think is probably more natural
ó lá go lá - "from day to day"
Wait and see what others suggest.
