On p249 of Cnósach Focal ó Bhaile Bhúirne, glossing "sgéal thairis":

On p116, the pronunciation of fuiting is given as /futʹiŋʹ/.
It's unclear to me what this means. Could it be the English word "footing" borrowed into Irish? An fuiting 'na rabhadar ag cainnt - the topic they were talking about?
