Hello, I'm trying to write some text in Irish for my niece's Christening (we are in England but she is half Irish and I thought it would be a nice thing to do to celebrate this) I wondered if anyone could help me as after quite a bit of googling I've come up with a few different versions and I'm not sure which is right!
Basically I want to write 'Welcome to the Christening of...' , would one of the options below be correct? Or maybe neither is!
Fáilte go dtí an Bhaisteadh...
Fáilte go Baisteadh na...

It would be "Fáilte chuig baisteadh xyz". The name of the person being christened - if it's the Irish version - will be in the genitive case and almost certainly require a spelling change from the basic form, so you'd better check back here. Likewise if you say "my niece"

Thank you! Sorry I'm not quite sure what you meant about a spelling change of the name though - her name is Ivy so I basically just want to write 'Welcome to the Christening of Ivy'
