"nonetheless, we rise" however could also be "however, we rise"

éirímid can be either the first-person plural present indicative or subjunctive form of éirigh, as in "luigh leis an uan, agus éirigh leis an éan" which translates roughly to "to lie with the lamb, to rise with the bird"

Should the word "and" be fit into that translation? I do believe agus tranlslates to and in English but I could be totally wrong. Le do thoil agus go raibh maith agat.
